Cardi B

Cardi B carries a fascinating tension: a Sun in Libra, the sign of the scale, sitting in the seventh house of partnership, yet an Aries Moon and an Aries rising blazing with Martian fire. The Libra Sun shines through relating to others, through charm, symmetry and the eye for beauty, and you can see it in the deal-maker who turned Vine clips and reality-TV appearances into a career, who unites collaborators and reads a room. But the mask she wears out the front door is pure Ram: the pioneer, the go-getter, the warrior with child-like, bitter honesty that most people find disarming. That Aries Ascendant is the trendsetter who moves first and apologises never. Her Aries Moon, freshly rising in the first house, wears every feeling on the skin, a masculine, alpha, do-it-now emotional nature that finds peace only in action and freedom, never in waiting. This is the aggressive flow and outspoken lyricism that made Bodak Yellow the first solo number one by a female rapper this century, and Invasion of Privacy the Grammy-winning landmark. A diplomat's Sun steering a warrior's heart: fairness and fire in one loud, undeniable voice.
