Charlie Sheen

Born Carlos Estevez in 1965, Charlie Sheen carries a Virgo Sun, the vitality that shines not through the limelight but through craft: the intelligent, detail-driven worker who is a jack of all arts and a master of them too. You can feel that precision in his early, disciplined film work, Platoon, Wall Street, Young Guns, roles built on close observation and technique. His Sun sits in the second house, the Lion King of resources, and money came to him accordingly: by 2010 he was the highest paid actor on television, drawing 1.8 million dollars an episode of Two and a Half Men. Second-house Sun builds identity on wealth and value, and its shadow fears losing it more than death.

His Moon in Sagittarius is the freedom-loving, blunt, adventurous psyche that finds peace only on the open road and can flee when the going gets tough. Placed in the fifth house of love affairs, pleasure and creation, that restless Moon fused his peace of mind to romance and revelry. His Cancer Ascendant lends a soft, lunar, emotionally porous face to the world. The Virgo perfectionist and the runaway Sagittarian Moon warred openly, and that public unravelling, from the 2011 firing to his 2015 HIV disclosure, was the price of it.
