Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid meets the world as a study in Venusian earth, and it suits a woman whose face has graced thirty-five international Vogue covers. Her Sun shines in Taurus, the bull, the foundational pillar of the zodiac, ruled by Venus and utterly at home among the five senses: beauty, aesthetics, texture, the art of putting a price on things and knowing true value. Taurus builds slowly and lastingly, and her Taurus Ascendant doubles that signature, the earthy, regal presence who can wear anything and make it look effortless and expensive. Born in Los Angeles in 1995, she modelled as a child for Baby Guess, signed to IMG in 2013, and by 2016 was crowned International Model of the Year. Yet her Moon in Aquarius, resting in the eleventh house of friends, tribes and networks, tells another story: a psyche fused with the collective, nourished by community and the crowd rather than solitude. This is the placement where it is about who you know, where mood rises and falls with the social tide, and where the drive to found something of her own, the clothing line Guest In Residence, becomes an expression of belonging. Grounded aesthete, connected to her tribe.
