Hunter Biden

Hunter Biden, born 4 February 1970, is an American attorney and businessman whose life has been shadowed by loss and struggle as much as by the name he carries. He is the second son of President Joe Biden, and when he was two a car crash killed his mother and infant sister and gravely injured him and his brother Beau. That early wound sits right in the chart. His Moon in Capricorn is the tender lunar nature dropped into cold Saturnian ground, the child who had to grow up fast, carrying a mothering wound and a lifelong sense of not enough. It falls in the eighth house, the healer's Moon, the survivor and phoenix meant to rise from the ashes again and again, yet also prone, un-channelled, to addiction and paranoia. His memoir Beautiful Things charts exactly this: drug and alcohol abuse that deepened after Beau's death in 2015.

His Sun in Aquarius, in the ninth house of law and global affairs, marks the tribe and the wider world, fitting for a man who worked in law, lobbying and international finance, on the boards of Burisma and BHR. A Cancer Ascendant lends a soft, guarded shell. A signature describes temperament; it never excuses the choices, and he was convicted in 2024 on firearms and later tax charges.
