Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was a lightning-bearer, the Serbian-American inventor whose polyphase alternating current became the quiet skeleton of the modern electrical world. Born in 1856 in the Austrian Empire, he studied engineering and physics and worked in the young power industry before crossing to the United States in 1884 to strike out alone. His induction motor and polyphase patents, licensed by Westinghouse in 1888, lit the century.

His Sun sits in Cancer, that very emotional sun shining through the Moon's own domain, and in the fourth house it pours the whole life agenda into home, lineage and hearth: a soul guarding a squishy, sentimental self behind the crab's shell.
