Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg made a laid-back drawl into one of the most recognisable sounds in music, a man who moves through every corner of American culture as if he owns the deed to cool itself. Born Calvin Broadus in Long Beach on 20 October 1971, he carries the Sun in Libra, the Venus-ruled sign of the Scale, the hero who shines through charm, ease and an eye for smooth, effortless beauty. That balance is in the very texture of his flow. His Sun sits in the sixth house of work and daily craft, the Lion King of the everyday grind, and few artists have been more prolific: from Doggystyle in 1993, which debuted at number one, through some two dozen albums, football coaching, film, television and even the Priority Records chairmanship, the man simply does not stop working.
