Stevie Wonder

Few charts sing quite as clearly as that of Stevie Wonder, born Stevland Morris in the spring of 1950, blind since infancy and a prodigy who signed to Motown's Tamla label at eleven. His Sun is in Taurus, the Venusian bull, the pillar and foundation of the zodiac, the sign most attuned to the five senses and above all to music, patient and unshakeable in its values. That Taurean Sun shines from the eighth house, the Scorpionic room of death, rebirth and buried depths, the phoenix rising: a man who had to grow up early and who kept transforming, from Little Stevie Wonder to the towering classic period of Talking Book, Innervisions and Songs in the Key of Life, three consecutive Albums of the Year. His Moon in Aries is the Martian, courageous, driven lunar nature, the pioneer who finds peace through action, and you hear it in the fearless activism, the long campaign for a King holiday. Libra rising gives him the Venus-ruled mask of beauty, balance and justice, the diplomat everyone wants at the table. Twenty-five Grammys, a Presidential Medal of Freedom, over one hundred million records: a Taurean foundation built to last, and to move the world toward equilibrium.
