Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler was the dictator of Germany from 1933 until his suicide in 1945, and the principal architect of one of the darkest chapters in human history. Born in Austria-Hungary in 1889, he rose through the Nazi Party to become chancellor, then Führer, seizing total power after the Enabling Act dismantled the Weimar Republic. He launched the Second World War in Europe by invading Poland in 1939, and he was central to the Holocaust, the murder of about six million Jews and millions of other victims. The regime he led was responsible for tens of millions of deaths.

His chart carries a Taurus Sun, an earthy, fixed placement associated with unshakeable opinions and a refusal to yield. The Capricorn Moon speaks to a cold, dutiful, emotionally detached inner life, and a Libra Ascendant lent the practised, persuasive mask that made his oratory so dangerously effective. These placements describe temperament only. A natal signature never softens or excuses the choices a person makes; Hitler chose genocide and war, and the astrology explains none of it away.
