Austin Butler

Austin Butler has that quality where, even in his jammies, when he enters a room it is hard not to notice him. That is the gift of a Leo Sun, the Sun in its own domicile, blazing at full strength: the lion who was born to perform, to be watched, to hold the centre of the frame. It took him years of patient work, from Disney and Nickelodeon days through The Carrie Diaries and The Shannara Chronicles, before that solar charge found its role. Then came Baz Luhrmann's Elvis (2022), and the king played the King, winning a Golden Globe and a BAFTA and earning an Oscar nomination. Time named him among its hundred most influential people the following year.

His Sun sits in the fourth house of home and lineage, so the hearth and family run deep in him; and his Moon in Sagittarius keeps his peace of mind tied to freedom, movement and the open road, the born wanderer who lightens any room he walks into. That Moon in the seventh house makes him a reader of others, most himself inside a strong partnership.
