Catherine Zeta Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones carries herself like a woman who knows the value of poise, and the chart tells you why. Her Sun sits in Libra, Venus's own sign of the Scale, so she shines when things are balanced, symmetrical and beautiful; there is a natural diplomat here, one who sees the fair chance for everyone and turns charm into a kind of art. That Libran Sun lives in the ninth house, the realm of far horizons, so the Welsh girl from Swansea was never going to stay put. She left for the wider world, learned her craft in the West End and then in Los Angeles, and became a true global citizen: Zorro, Traffic, and the murderous, magnetic singer in Chicago that won her the Academy Award. Behind the polish, her Moon in Pisces is the ultimate empath, a sponge of a moon tuned to imagination and feeling, which lends her performances their emotional undertow and also names, honestly, the depths she has spoken of in her own struggle with bipolar II. With Sagittarius rising she meets the world as the jolly, expansive explorer, larger than life and generous with it. A Libran heart, a mystic's soul, an adventurer's stride.
