Claudia Mo

Claudia Mo is one of those souls built for the long, patient climb, and in her the ascent was never for status alone but for principle. Born under a Capricorn Sun, she carries that old-soul, Saturn-ruled seriousness: the vitality shines through duty, discipline and a refusal to be moved off the highest rung of what she believed was right. Capricorn shows us where we shine, and Claudia shone through steadiness, through the work itself, through a reputation earned rather than performed. Trained as a journalist, she came up through Agence France-Presse and reported the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989, an event she has named as the watershed that cemented her convictions. She later carried that reporter's conscience into Hong Kong's Legislative Council, representing Kowloon West and standing squarely in the pro-democracy camp until she resigned in 2020.

Her Leo Moon is the heart behind the discipline: warm, brave, generous, a psyche that needs to speak and be heard. Capricorn gives the spine, Leo the fire. When she was arrested and charged under the National Security Law, both showed: the courage of the lion, the endurance of the mountain goat, unbroken.
