Javier Bardem

Javier Bardem is an actor who does not so much perform a role as dissolve into it, and his chart tells you why. His Sun shines in Pisces, the wisest and most unknowable of the archetypes, the old-soul sponge who feels the full human condition and channels it back as something almost mystical. That is the alchemy behind Anton Chigurh, the pitiless assassin of No Country for Old Men that won him the Oscar, and the tender, dying father of Biutiful. This Piscean Sun sits in the fifth house, the Sun's own creative home, all charisma, play and self-expression, which fits a man who trained as a painter for four years before the family trade of acting finally claimed him.
