Louis XVIII of France

Louis XVIII, born on 17 November 1755 in Versailles, embodied the essence of perseverance and resilience, shaped by a Sun in Scorpio. This placement gifted him with a profound understanding of power dynamics and a strategic approach to leadership. His reign as King of France from 1814 to 1824, along with a tumultuous period of exile, highlighted his ability to navigate the shadows of political upheaval, a skill reflective of his Scorpio nature.

With a Moon in Taurus, Louis sought stability and comfort amidst chaos. This earthbound lunar influence revealed his desire to restore order and prosperity to his homeland after years of revolution. Known as "le Désiré," he returned to France after the fall of Napoleon, embodying a deep longing for continuity and tradition in a nation that had experienced dramatic transformations.

Despite the challenges he faced, including a brief interruption during the Hundred Days, Louis XVIII's commitment to his royal duties remained steadfast. His journey encapsulated the tension between the past and the future, as he endeavoured to reconcile a fractured nation while holding on to the values that defined his lineage. In his legacy, the complex interplay of Scorpio's intensity and Taurus's steadfastness resonates, revealing a man shaped by both ambition and a deep-rooted desire for stability.
