Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker is an actress who made a fictional New York columnist into a cultural icon. Born in 1965, she was a working performer from childhood, making her Broadway debut at eleven in The Innocents and taking the title role in Annie by fourteen. Film work followed through the 1980s and 1990s, from Footloose to Hocus Pocus, but it was Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City (1998 to 2004) that made her a household name, winning her two Emmys and four Golden Globes. She has since produced through her own company, reprised Carrie for films and a revival series, and been named among Time's 100 most influential people.

Her Sun in Aries is the pioneer-warrior, one of the strongest positions the Sun can hold: a self-starter and natural leader, radiant and resilient, casting light and leaving a mark wherever she goes. That fearless, get-back-on-the-saddle drive shows in a career she built and led from the age of eleven.

Her Moon in Capricorn is the tender emotional nature dressed in Saturn's discipline: the unspoiled child who grew up fast, stoic and dutiful, forever hardworking. It is that seriousness beneath the sparkle that let her outlast the spotlight rather than be consumed by it.
