Ted Bundy

Ted Bundy was one of the most notorious serial killers in American history. He kidnapped, raped and murdered numerous young women and girls across at least seven states during the 1970s, confessing to thirty murders before his execution, though his true toll is almost certainly higher. He decapitated victims and kept remains as mementos. There is nothing to celebrate here, and a chart explains temperament, never absolves a person of what they choose to do.

He was born with both Sun and Moon in Sagittarius in the fourth house. Sagittarius is normally the wanderer and philosopher, and the fourth house speaks of home and lineage. In Bundy, the Sagittarian gift for movement became the roving predator who crossed state lines, and its blunt persuasiveness became manipulation. His Leo Ascendant supplied the surface that made him so dangerous: the magnetic, charismatic, handsome mask that let him win trust before he struck.

A double Sagittarius could have been a teacher. He instead used charm and mobility to hunt. Arrested in 1975, he escaped custody twice before his recapture and was executed in Florida in 1989. Biographers called him heartless evil, and the record bears that out.
