Warren Buffet

Warren Buffett shines the way a Virgo shines: not by chasing the limelight, but by doing the work perfectly, out of principle. His Sun sits in Virgo, the meticulous analyst with the excellent memory and the practical, left-brain mind, the one who masters what others merely dabble in. It is the perfect signature for value investing, patient, exacting, unglamorous. That Sun sits in his eighth house, the Scorpionic realm of buried and transformed money: banking, insurance, inheritance, the deep places where fortunes are made and remade. He truly does know where the bodies are buried in a balance sheet.

His Moon lives in Sagittarius in the eleventh house, the house of friends, community and grand wishes. Here his peace of mind flows through his network and the masses, philosophy poured into homespun wisdom that a global audience connects with; small wonder he is called the Oracle of Omaha.

With Sagittarius also rising, the jolly Jupiterian sage's mask, he meets the world as the plain-spoken, folksy teacher despite his billions. Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, worth over one hundred billion dollars, he has pledged to give away ninety-nine percent of it. The analyst who became a philanthropist-philosopher.
