"The Anthology" by Vettius Valens is a collection of astrological works written in ancient Greece in the 2nd century AD. It is considered one of the most important surviving texts on Hellenistic astrology, which was practiced in the Mediterranean region from the 1st century BC to the 7th century AD.
Valens discusses various topics related to astrology, including natal astrology, horary astrology (answering specific questions based on astrological charts), and electional astrology (choosing the most auspicious time for an event). The book is divided into nine books, each covering a different aspect of astrology.
