Arthur Conan Doyle

Arthur Conan Doyle was a messenger to his bones, a man who moved information from one place to another and made a whole new kind of story out of it. His Sun sits in Gemini, that marriage between Helios and Mercury, the sign of "between," of the twin who is always two persons in one. It is the Sun of the journalist, the anchor, the deducer, and Doyle wore many hats: physician, novelist, poet, campaigner. In 1887 he introduced Sherlock Holmes in A Study in Scarlet, then wrote four novels and fifty-six short stories about Holmes and Watson that became milestones of crime fiction, the very art of reading small clues and moving from them to the truth.
