Barbra Streisand, born on the 24th of April 1942, is one of the rare performers to hold an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony, a career spanning six decades of song, screen and unyielding artistic control. From Brooklyn nightclubs she rose to sign with Columbia on her own terms, then topped the Billboard 200 with eleven albums, a record among women, and gave the world The Way We Were, Evergreen and Woman in Love. She won the Best Actress Oscar for Funny Girl, and with Yentl became the first woman to write, produce, direct and star in a major studio film. Over 150 million records sold and the Presidential Medal of Freedom mark her legend.

Her Sun in Taurus is the earthy, Venusian pillar, the connoisseur of beauty and sound with unshakeable opinions and an ear for value, and it shines from the first house, the realest place of all, where she is simply the star, born to be seen by being herself. Her Moon in Leo is king and queen in one, the born performer who feels through the stage, seated in the fifth house of creativity and love, where every song and film became her cherished offspring. Her Aries Ascendant is the ram's pioneering, fearless mask, the first-mover who bows to no one.
