Che Guevara

Ernesto "Che" Guevara built his life around an unshakeable conviction, and his chart is the portrait of a fixed idea worn like armour. His Sun in Taurus is the foundational bull: earthy, immovable, the pillar of the chart whose opinions calcify into bedrock, the man of whom Gaia would say the universe itself could beg him to change his mind and he would not. That Sun sits in the second house of values and worth, and his values became his whole identity: radicalised as a young Argentine medical student by the poverty and hunger he saw crossing South America, he fused with Marxism as a matter of principle. His Pisces Moon dissolved into the twelfth house of the collective unconscious, the empath's psyche poured into humanity's suffering, sacrifice as its native language. An Aries Ascendant supplied the warrior's mask, the Martian go-getter who says follow me and moves first. He rose to second-in-command in the Cuban Revolution, held high office in Castro's government, then died attempting revolution in Bolivia in 1967, executed after capture. His stylised image became a global emblem. He remains genuinely divisive: to some a martyr, to others an authoritarian who oversaw tribunals and firing squads. A chart maps temperament, never the choices made with it.
