Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish arrived like weather nobody forecast, and her chart holds the whole strange, luminous storm. Her Sun blazes in Sagittarius at the very top of her chart, the tenth house, the Sun at noon on the throne of career and reputation; she is the giant everyone else circles like ants, handed not one ace card but four. Sagittarius is the Jupiter-ruled explorer, free-spirited and always on the go, and true to it she has wandered far from every convention of pop. With her brother Finneas she turned bedroom whispers into When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, made Bad Guy a global anthem, and became the youngest artist in Grammy history to sweep all four general categories in one night, later collecting an Oscar too.

Her Moon lives in Aquarius in the twelfth house, a psyche fused with the tribe of humanity yet dissolved into the collective unconscious: the crazy-genius Moon, the empath-sponge, the out-of-the-box mind that channels the fringe. It shows in her hushed, dreamlike sound and her activism for the climate and for women's bodies. And her Pisces Ascendant is the mystic's mask, the fog and mirage, big sleepy eyes and shifting faces. Sagittarian fire, Aquarian mind, Piscean soul: a voice that belongs to everyone and no one.
