Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson has always been, quite literally, two people in one, and that is the Gemini Sun at work: the sign of "between," the messenger, the eternal twin who understands both sides of every argument and can hold two opposing opinions at once. This is the Sun of the journalist and the salesperson, and Johnson lived it fully, from Brussels correspondent to Spectator editor before ever entering Parliament. That Sun sits in the ninth house of philosophy, publishing and global horizons, fitting for a Classics man from Eton and Balliol who was elected president of the Oxford Union and made a career of the grand rhetorical performance.

His Moon in Scorpio is the emotional volcano beneath the affable, tousled surface, all-or-nothing and drawn to power and survival. Placed in the first house, that Moon sits right under the skin, giving him a magnetic, crowd-pleasing presence that reached beyond his party. He became Mayor of London, led Vote Leave, and served as Prime Minister from 2019 to 2022, delivering Brexit and steering through the pandemic before Partygate and mass resignations ended his premiership. A Libra Ascendant lent the charming, diplomatic mask; a chart of persuasion, and of genuine controversy.
