Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz shines the way a Virgo Sun always does: not for the limelight alone, but through craft, precision and the quiet pride of doing the work well. Raised in Long Beach and signed to a modelling contract while still in school, she turned her hands and her instincts into a career, bursting onto screens at twenty-one opposite Jim Carrey in The Mask. The Virgo in her is the intelligent, detail-loving worker; but her comic looseness, that willingness to be silly and seen, softened the perfectionist's edge and made her one of the most bankable stars of her era.

Her Moon in Taurus is the luminary at its most exalted and at peace: earthy, loyal, sensual, devoted to comfort, security and things of real quality. It is the steady foundation beneath the sparkle, and it later drew her toward home, marriage and her health books on the body and longevity.

Her Cancer Ascendant gave her that round, luminous, moon-faced warmth, the mask of the nurturer who guards a tender interior behind the crab's shell. Across There's Something About Mary, Charlie's Angels and her voicing of Fiona, she stepped back at her peak to mother her own life, then returned on her terms.
