Enzo Ferrari

Enzo Anselmo Giuseppe Maria Ferrari Cavaliere di Gran Croce OMRI[1] (Italian: [ˈɛntso anˈsɛlmo ferˈraːri]; 18 February 1898[2] – 14 August 1988) was an Italian motor racing driver and entrepreneur, the founder of the Scuderia Ferrari Grand Prix motor racing team, and subsequently of the Ferrari automobile marque. He was widely known as Il Commendatore or Il Drake. In his final years he was often referred to as L'Ingegnere ("The Engineer") or Il Grande Vecchio ("The Grand Old Man").

Early life

Enzo Ferrari was born on 18 February 1898 in Modena, Italy, while his birth certificate states 20 February.[3] His parents were Alfredo Ferrari and Adalgisa Bisbini; he had an older brother Alfredo Junior (Dino). Alfredo Senior was the son of a grocer from Carpi, and began a workshop fabricating metal parts at the family home.[4] Enzo grew up with little formal education. When he was 10 he witnessed Felice Nazzaro's win at the 1908 Circuito di Bologna, an event which inspired him to become a racing driver.[5] During World War I he served in the 3rd Mountain Artillery Regiment of the Italian Army. His father Alfredo, and his older brother, Alfredo Jr., died in 1916 as a result of a widespread Italian flu outbreak. Ferrari became severely sick himself during the 1918 flu pandemic and was consequently discharged from the Italian service.[citation needed]

**** DISCLAIMER: Given Enzo Ferrari's CLASSIC Pisces eyes & certain doubt about his birthday rating, I spent a long time trying to test whether he indeed is a late deg Aquarius Sun birth. After much deliberation, I am confident he must have been born on 3:04 AM or a few min after since his Venus, which is fused with his sun, must be at 0 Pisces ( it is 3 min to Pisces if we go by 3AM reported time). A man like Enzo, given his position within the car industry (VENUS=CAR) and as a pioneer, an exalted Venus at 0 Pisces can indeed explain much of his success re Ferrari, which also correlate beautifully with his CLASSIC Piscean sleepy/dreamy eyes. Therefore, I rectified his birth-time to 3:04 AM and I am very confident this is a trust worthy rectification.
