Harriet Walter

There is a rare kind of actor who can hold two truths in one gaze, and Harriet Walter is one of them. Dame Harriet, English to her bones and a leading light of the Royal Shakespeare Company, has spent a lifetime giving weight to both sides of a character, the wound and the pride, the mercy and the steel. That is the gift of a Sun in Libra, Venus's sign of the Scale. She shines by being the fair judge, the one who sees symmetry and beauty in the subtlest human balance, and it is no accident that she made history playing Brutus, Henry IV and Prospero in all-female Shakespeare, weighing the scales of who gets to speak.

Beneath that poised surface runs a Pisces Moon, the ultimate empath, a sponge tuned to the spirit realm. This is the psychic instrument that lets her dissolve into Cleopatra, into the grieving mothers of Atonement, Succession and Killing Eve, drawing on a divine-level imagination.

Honoured with an Olivier and made a Dame in 2011, she has poured that same compassion into Clean Break and Prisoners Abroad. Libra weighs the world; Pisces feels it whole.
