Jason Jorjani

Jason Reza Jorjani, born on the twenty-first of February, 1981, in Manhattan, is an American philosopher and writer, the only child of an Iranian father of Qajar descent and a mother of Irish and Scandinavian heritage. He earned a doctorate in philosophy from Stony Brook in 2013 and lectured at the New Jersey Institute of Technology on Heidegger, the philosophy of technology, and the history of Iran. He also became editor-in-chief of the far-right publisher Arktos Media and, in 2017, co-founded the AltRight Corporation alongside Richard Spencer. That association is the sober centre of his public record. In a covertly recorded conversation he predicted a Europe of returned concentration camps and the mass expulsion of Muslims "at the cost of a few hundred million people". He has argued the remarks were edited and meant as warning rather than endorsement; a federal judge later dismissed his defamation claim against NJIT. His Pisces Sun points to the boundary-blurred mystic and idealist who can get lost in the mirage, and his Libra Moon to a psyche organised around harmony and justice. A natal chart describes temperament only; it never excuses the choice to lend intellectual cover to visions of ethnic expulsion.
