Jennifer Lawrence

There is a sun-blazing, unpretentious warmth to Jennifer Lawrence, and her chart carries it at full strength. Her Sun is in Leo, the lion in its own domicile, the king of the castle at one hundred percent: charismatic, generous, made of a giant heart, impossible not to notice when she walks into a room. That Sun shines from the ninth house, the house of philosophy, higher horizons and the global citizen, so she was always meant to be seen far and wide, and indeed her films have grossed over six billion dollars worldwide, carrying her from the poverty-stricken teenager of Winter's Bone to Katniss Everdeen and Mystique. Her Moon in Gemini is the quick, talkative, mentally restless lunar nature, comfortable in words and wit rather than heavy sentiment, which is much of her famously candid, unfiltered charm. It sits in the seventh house, the house of others, where she reads a room instinctively and shines in partnership, hence the run of collaborations that won her a Best Actress Oscar at twenty-two for Silver Linings Playbook. Sagittarius rises as her mask, the jolly, freedom-loving, big-smiling explorer, larger than life and refreshingly frank. Feminist and activist, founder of her own foundation, she wears a Leo heart openly and roars only when it matters.
