Lucy Letby

Lucy Letby is a former neonatal nurse and one of the most prolific child killers in modern British history. Working at the Countess of Chester Hospital, she murdered seven infants in her care between 2015 and 2016 and attempted to murder six others, using air, insulin, overfeeding and physical assault against babies too small to defend themselves. Convicted in August 2023, she received a whole-life order and declined to face the families in court.
