Prince William

Prince William, heir apparent to the British throne, carries one of the most tender charts a future king could be given. His Sun and his Moon both sit in Cancer, a double dose of the sign of the mother, so his whole being is steeped in nurturing, protection and feeling. The Cancer Sun shines as a mama bear, the guarded soul with a soft heart hidden inside a hard shell, while the Moon in its own home is the moon goddess herself, deeply psychic, sensitive, wired for the wellbeing of family and homeland. Born in London in 1982 to Charles and Diana, and shaped by profound early loss, he has poured that Cancerian care into public purpose: mental health through Heads Together, conservation through United for Wildlife and the Earthshot Prize.

Both luminaries fall in the 7th house, the house of partnership, where a person shines through the other and feels complete only when united. It is a striking signature for a man whose marriage to Catherine anchors his public life and their three children. His Sagittarius Ascendant gives the jovial, philosophical outer mask, the likeable explorer meeting the world. A protector born to belong to someone, and to a people.
