Renée Zellweger

There is a shapeshifter's soul behind the girl-next-door warmth of Renée Zellweger, the Texas-raised actress who once dreamed of journalism and instead became a two-time Academy Award winner. Her Sun is in Taurus, the earthy, Venusian bull, the pillar and foundation of the chart, patient and rooted in solid values; and it shines from the eighth house, the Scorpionic room of death, rebirth and transformation, the phoenix rising from the ashes. That is the signature of an actress who vanishes and returns: the American Bridget Jones, the loquacious farmer of Cold Mountain, and finally Judy Garland herself, a rebirth after a career hiatus that won her the Best Actress Oscar. Her Moon in Leo is one of the great actor's moons, king and queen in one, feeling through the heart and the stage, giving audiences goosebumps because the emotion is genuinely lived. Yet Virgo rises as her mask, the modest, clean, self-critical maiden, the perfectionist who serves through craft and is her own harshest critic. So the woman the world meets is unassuming and exacting, while inside burns a Leo heart and a Taurean will that transforms itself entirely for each role, then rises again, healthier and brighter than before.
