Robert Downey Jr.

Few people have staged a comeback quite like Robert Downey Jr., and the chart tells you why: this is a soul built to get back up on the saddle no matter what the universe throws at it. His Sun in Aries is an ace card, the pioneer-warrior at full radiance, quick to act, quick to forgive, walking out of many battles without a scar. Placed in the ninth house, that fire wants to shine as a philosopher and a global citizen, which is exactly the reach he found playing everyone from Charlie Chaplin (a BAFTA in 1992) to the very human genius of Iron Man across a decade of Marvel films, and finally Lewis Strauss in Oppenheimer, the role that won him the Academy Award in 2024.

His Moon is exalted in Taurus, the luminary at its most steady and sensual, and it sits on the tenth-house throne where the whole world watches. That is the paradox of a man whose struggles and his sobriety, held since 2003, all played out in public view. A Leo Ascendant crowns it: regal, magnetic, unmistakably himself. He casts light and leaves a mark wherever he goes.
