Heinrich Himmler

Heinrich Himmler was one of the principal architects of the Holocaust and among the most culpable mass murderers in history. As Reichsführer of the SS from 1929, he expanded a small guard unit into a million-strong apparatus of terror, built and controlled the Nazi concentration and extermination camps, formed the Einsatzgruppen death squads, and directed the systematic murder of some six million Jews along with hundreds of thousands of Roma and millions of other civilians. From 1943 he also held the German police and interior ministry, extending his reach over the machinery of persecution. He died by suicide in British custody in May 1945.

His chart is offered only for analysis, and a natal signature describes temperament, never the choices a person makes; nothing here mitigates his guilt. The Sun in Libra sits in the eighth house of death and buried power, its diplomatic surface turned toward bureaucratic control rather than justice. A Moon in Aries in the first house lent a driven, martial self-assertion worn openly. An Aquarius Ascendant marks the detached outsider drawn to fringe ideology and occult symbolism, which he weaponised into a doctrine of racial murder. The horoscope explains nothing of the evil he chose.
