Jeffrey Epstein

Jeffrey Epstein, born on the twentieth of January, 1953, in New York City, and dead by suicide in a jail cell on the tenth of August, 2019, was an American financier and a convicted sex offender. His crimes must be stated plainly and without softening. Over many years he procured and sexually abused numerous women and girls, some as young as fourteen, together with associates including Ghislaine Maxwell, later convicted for helping to traffic children to him. He built wealth and an elite social circle after moving from teaching into finance, then used that wealth and access as instruments of predation. A 2008 plea deal saw him convicted on only two charges despite federal investigators identifying dozens of victims; he was arrested again in 2019 on federal sex-trafficking charges before his death ended the case.
