Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson carries the tender heart of a Cancer Sun married to a Cancer Moon, a rare doubling of the moon-goddess energy: deeply emotional, maternal regardless of role, intuitive almost to the point of the psychic. This is a woman here to shine as a nurturer, guarding a soft and squishy inner self behind the crab's protective shell, and it is precisely that openness of heart that made audiences feel they knew her. She meets the world, though, through a Scorpio Ascendant, the phoenix-and-serpent mask: an all-or-nothing survivor who sheds her skin and rises again, a chameleon few can fool. Her Sun sits in the ninth house of philosophy and global horizons, the hero shining as a teacher and worldly seeker; from church choirs in Texas she built a genuinely global presence, selling twenty million albums and later crossing into country music. Her Moon rests in the eighth house of death and rebirth, the healer's moon that transforms crisis into renewal. That phoenix cycle shows in her many reinventions, from teen pop star to reality-television fixture to the fashion designer whose collection became the most successful celebrity brand in history, earning over a billion dollars. Soft heart, hard shell, and the endless capacity to be reborn.
