Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez was handed the turbo-power Sun of Leo in its own domicile, and she has spent a career proving the universe couldn't give a better one: the born celebrity, the lion at the centre of her own solar system, made of a giant heart and unmistakable presence. That Sun blazes at the very top of her chart in the tenth house, the Sun at noon on the throne of career and public image, one of the most visible placements there is. From Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color to the first Hispanic actress paid a million dollars for a film in Selena, she built a life that is public whether or not she wills it, first woman with a number-one album and film in a single week.

Her Moon in Scorpio is the emotional volcano behind the glamour, the phoenix that dies and is reborn again and again through very public cycles of love, loss and comeback. Sitting in the second house, it fuses feeling with self-worth and money, and few have monetised their magnetism so completely: fragrances, fashion, film, the Vegas residency.
