Noomi Rapace

Noomi Rapace carries the patient, iron-willed ascent of a Capricorn Sun, an old soul who organises her whole identity around craft, reputation and the slow climb to the highest rung. Born in Hudiksvall, Sweden, in the last days of 1979 to a Swedish actress and a Spanish flamenco singer, she left home at fifteen for Stockholm and the acting schools of Skara Skolscen and Södra Latin, chasing the mission with the disciplined, dependable drive that marks a Saturn-ruled Sun. The world met her fully as Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish Millennium trilogy in 2009, a performance so fierce it earned a Guldbagge Award and BAFTA and Emmy recognition, and opened the door to international work: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Ridley Scott's Prometheus, Dead Man Down, Black Crab and the series Constellation.

Beneath the climber lives an exalted Taurus Moon, the luminary at its healthiest and most rooted, an earthy Venusian heart that finds peace through security, loyalty and the deep pleasures of the five senses. That devotion, unmatched and steadfast, is the ballast under her range, the still centre that lets her vanish so completely into character after character.
