Shia Saide LaBeouf

Shia LaBeouf is a shape-shifter and a live wire, and his chart reads like a portrait of restless creative fire. His Sun in Gemini sits in the fourth house of home and lineage: the eternal twin, always two people in one, whose deepest agenda circles back to family and the childhood hearth. You can feel that in how much of his art excavates his own upbringing, most nakedly in Honey Boy, the 2019 film he wrote about his father. He rose as a child on Disney's Even Stevens, won a Daytime Emmy, then became a blockbuster lead in the Transformers films and Indiana Jones before turning toward rawer, riskier work in Lawless, Fury, American Honey and The Peanut Butter Falcon. His Moon in Leo in the sixth house is the born performer's Moon, king and queen at once, who feels through the act itself and needs the stage to find peace, channelling drama into craft. Rising in Aquarius, he wears the mask of the eccentric black sheep, the one who cannot help being unmistakably different, spilling into his boundary-pushing performance art with LaBeouf, Ronkko and Turner. He shines brightest when he stops hiding and simply shows us the whole of himself.
