Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman carries one of the most trusted voices on Earth, the timbre that has narrated penguins, wormholes, and the story of God itself. Born in Memphis in 1937 and raised in Mississippi, he began in school plays, studied theatre in Los Angeles, and won an Obie for Coriolanus before rising to fame on The Electric Company. His screen legacy is vast: Street Smart, Driving Miss Daisy, Glory, The Shawshank Redemption, Se7en, and Invictus, with an Academy Award for Million Dollar Baby, plus Lucius Fox in Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. His Sun in Gemini in the twelfth house is the messenger dissolved into the collective unconscious: a communicator whose voice moves information from realm to realm, shining not for himself but as a channel, the storyteller who feels almost saintly to be near. His Moon in Pisces in the ninth is the psychic empath whose mind is fed by the great questions of faith, philosophy, and far horizons, precisely the register of his documentaries on the universe and the divine. Cancer rises, the lunar matriarch's mask, round-faced and nurturing, born to mother and comfort. Through his company Revelations Entertainment he still shapes stories, a gentle sage narrating the world back to itself.
